Membership Requirements

Membership is intended for men and women of Armenian descent who have achieved at least a four-year degree from an accredited college or university. A candidate for membership must have the recommendation of two paid members with their signatures on the application for membership. A candidate for membership must be actively engaged in one of the following professions in a full time capacity:

1. Accounting
2. Architecture
3. Arts and Sciences
4. Business
5. Dentistry
6. Economics
7. Education
8. Engineering
9. Government Service
10. Law
11. Medicine
12. Optometry
13. Pharmacy

The requirement of being active in a profession shall fulfill one of the following criteria:

Where the laws of the State of California require a certificate of professional competency, then the holding of such certificate in good standing shall fulfill the requirement;

Where the laws of the State of California do not require certification, then this requirement shall be fulfilled if the candidate has been recognized within his profession as being an active practitioner in good standing;

Where a profession or the status of being active in that profession is in doubt, then the Executive Board shall use its discretion in the judgment of meeting the requirements for membership.
